“Find something that differentiates you from the others!

How did you come up with your website’s name? Did you consider any other options?

Our aim was to find a name with no specific connotation to a particular topic, as well as describing what our content is about: weekly news, with a focus on affordable things hence the cut.

What inspired you to become a blogger?

After a variety of experiences from fashion to finance, my aim was to launch an online magazine that was different from anything already available. With the goal being to help our readers to live and shop consciously.

What does your daily blogging routine look like?

Wake up, head to the kitchen to prep some lemon water with ACV, a coffee with almond milk followed by a quick scroll through emails and Instagram. Then i head to the gym for a high intensity workout class. After that, it’s time to prepare TWC’s Instagram posts for the day.

What’s the most important possession that you can’t live without?

A watch so I can always be on time!

What’s your proudest lifetime achievement?

Tough to decide, but I’d say for TWC it’s been collaborating with brands and industry experts.

“…keep track of your analytics and aim to increase by the day. Only this will show how dedicated your readers are.

What drives you to keep blogging and stay motivated?

Discipline is everything – leaving a high-paying job to start something on your own is difficult, but you just have to keep believing in what you’re creating. Only time will tell!

What do you wish you knew before you started your blog?

Coding skills!!!!

What’s the most useful blogging lesson you have learned so far?

That numbers are everything – keep track of your analytics and aim to increase by the day. Only this will show how dedicated your readers are.

Name another blogger who is killing it?

We’re loving long-time bloggers such as Arielle Charnas (@somethingnavy) and Danielle Bernstein (@weworewhat) for being true to their brand and creating real content.

What is your best advice to young bloggers just starting out?

Find something that differentiates you from the others!

How do you deal with negative comments on social media?

Thankfully for us, since it’s not a personal blog we haven’t (yet) received any negative feedback. We are getting a lot of requests for men’s content, so that’s something we’re definitely working on for the next months.

How do you manage a work/life balance?

Since we don’t have an office, I try not to spend too much time working at home because of distractions. I find it easier to work at the gym or in a quiet coffee shop.

Who is the biggest influence in your life?

No one in particular – however there are a couple influential women that inspire me on a daily basis. Sheryl Sandberg , Nathalie Massenet

Who should everyone be following?

Eva Chen – Head of fashion partnerships at Instagram. She runs a hilarious and very real Instagram account.

What are you listening to right now?
